We currently have an opportunity for a PSSE Configuration and Compliance Controller on a full-time permanent basis in Plymouth. The role is based in Devonport Operations which is a business unit in the Marine & Technology Division of Babcock International Group.
Main Purpose of Role
To support and assist the Ministry Stores Controller in ensuring compliance with the customer’s regulations relating to Government Owned Equipment including PSSE (Portable Specialist Support Equipment) in accordance with all relevant DEFSTANs, DEFCONs and JSPs.
Key Skills and Knowledge
Compliance adherance with Company & MoD Processes.
Knowledge of Asset management.
Change management skills.
Technical Competences
Compliance with DEFSTAN’s, DEFCON’s and JSP’s.
Key Behavioral competencies:

Excellent hand on problem solving abilities.
Able to plan complex & changing workloads
Good customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Significant and relevant experience.
Change management experience.
Ideally, experience in Quality Assurance.
Level 3 qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, ONC, A Levels, or equivalent)
Successful candidates will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements and may be required to complete a medical assessment.
Salary & Benefits
This position is within the Devonport Operations business unit as a grade 3 which has a salary of £29,370 with DRDL Terms Conditions.
