To provide a subject matter expertise (SME) in assessing and quality assuring Learners progressing Apprenticeship Programmes (AP) for the Naval Service. Additionally to provide an SME advice and guidance to Learners on AP pathways.
To deliver high quality assessment in line with Company standards and contractual requirements.
FOAP (T) operates within an era of severe budgetary pressure for the MoD; as such all employees are required to:

Main Tasks:
To provide Apprenticeship/award Programme assessments and support for Supply Chain Apprentices within Raleigh.
Under the Supervisors authorisation, work closely with the NS and National Authorities/Agencies, to ensure a consistent and compliant Apprenticeship and occupational awards delivery output.
Maintain Apprenticeship/award documentation to meet RN and external Authority/Agency quality control and contract requirements.
As directed by the Manager/Supervisor, conduct Apprenticeship/award quality control activities to ensure service outputs. (This may include travel and over night stay)
Seek Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives within the Raleigh output areas. Maximise performance delivery, innovative new approaches to deliver savings. Feeding back to the Training Delivery Team Supervisor (Raleigh Frameworks).
Maintain currency and SQEP in line with technical experience.
To be responsible for the duty of care of trainees under your control.
Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times for all employees and trainees under your direction
Technical Experience and Qualifications:
Qualified to L3 or equivalent in the required logistical competency or have 5 years proven required Logistical experience, as a NCO or above, within the Armed Services. Essential.
Level 2 qualification in Maths/English. Essential.
A1 / V1 Awards or equivalent. Desirable.
ILM Level 3 Award (Workplace Coaching for Team Leaders and First Line Management) Desirable.
ECDL or equivalent demonstrable proficiency in using IT (hardware/software) within the workplace. Essential.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Carries out any other appropriate task that may be required from time to time

The nature of RN training requires a high degree of flexibility for all FOAP staff; there may be a requirement for travel between FOAP delivery sites within the UK

Salary: up to £25,000 depending on skills and experience
