Overall Department Direction
Providing a planning and project controls service to the facilities design team.
This role provides the interface between the internal customer and design teams for all work requests.
Main Purpose of Role
The role incorporates the functions of ROM estimating, task recording, facilitation of the task acceptance process, populating the cost collecting and planning systems.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Competences
Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
Good knowledge of project controls and management principles.
Good working knowledge of windows based applications and demonstrable knowledge of primavera P6.
Experience of facilities management in a regulated environment would be advantageous.
Qualifications
ONC/OND or BTEC in an engineering discipline or relevant experience
Security
Successful candidates will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements and may be required to complete a medical assessment.
Grade
This position is within the Engineering Services business unit as a grade 3 which has a salary of £29,370 with DRDL Terms and Conditions.

This role is based at Devonport Royal Dockyard which is located in the vibrant city of Plymouth, Devon. Plymouth is a city with a long and proud military history and more than its fair share of heritage.
