We are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner to join our innovative, exciting and highly regarded personality disorder service. You will join a large team of psychologists, psychotherapists, occupational therapists and offender managers working in partnership with criminal justice staff across Yorkshire and Humber to help maximise their engagement with, supervision and risk management of offenders identified as having difficulties consistent with a PD diagnosis. The aim of the partnership is to promote a psychologically informed approach with this high risk, complex group. This includes through collaborative psychological formulation and consultation, joint working with service users and teaching and training. The service works within a range of criminal justice settings to promote effective pathways, including with probation and Approved Premises and also delivers a range of group work interventions as part of a pathway approach.
The successful applicant will join a service which can provide a wealth of opportunities for innovation and professional development, following a period of rapid expansion. We are looking for a motivated and creative clinician who has experience of working with complex, high risk populations and of providing supervision to others.
