Slough and Maidenhead CAMHS - East Business Unit.
Base: Slough/Maidenhead CAMHS.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced RMN to join the Slough/Maidenhead CAMHS.
The post holder will provide specialist clinical interventions and consultation to children and young people and their family referred to the service. The post holder is expected to manage daily crisis calls, see patients who are in crisis and to deliver short term interventions. The role of the practitioner is also to work closely with our partner agencies, and to involve in the service modernisation.
This is also an exciting opportunity for the post holder to use their skills in leadership as well as continuing to deliver clinical interventions. The successful post holder will be supported with good clinical supervision and development.
Berkshire CAMHS is a multi-disciplinary community-based service that serves a child population of approximately 300,000 across the County. The teams comprise of child psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, family therapists, nurse practitioners, psychotherapists, art/play therapists, social workers and Primary Mental Health Workers.
You will be expected to work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the pathway; utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research and propose and implement policy changes within the area served by the pathway.
