The Family & Therapies Finance Business Partner team is currently offering a Fixed term/ secondment opportunity for 10 months to cover the needs of the service.

An immediate and exciting opportunity has arisen to join a Finance Business Partner team that is committed to improving both the Health Board and Family & Therapy Division's business platforms.

The Family & Therapies Division covers a wide range of services including acute services in Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Midwifery in addition to community based services for example Child & Adolescent Mental Health, Children's Community Nursing, School Health Nursing, Health Visiting and Therapy services.

You will be the Finance Business lead for a group of services, supporting operational Directorates to increase efficiency, improve productivity and deliver value for money solutions; working with Clinical Directors, Directorate Managers and Performance teams, HR colleagues and Senior Nurses in multi-disciplinary teams.

You will need initiative to 'learn the business' of the Division, have the confidence to challenge current practice and identify improvements and have the ability to plan and implement changes successfully. To achieve this you will need to be highly motivated and organised and will need to provide sound business and financial advice both independently, often away from the office environment and as part of the Finance Business Partner team.

This post is for a CCAB Qualified Accountant, alternatively the post is also open as a development role to a part qualified CCAB accountancy trainees who are in their final year of training - please get in touch for more details.
